About me

I’ve always wanted to entertain and do something with Computers/ technology, I’ve found game development is what I was looking for.

Who am I

I’m Henrik Rico Visscher, a Dutch game- and level-designer.
I’ve always been a maker, I want to create. Because of this I did R&D in highschool, which gave me an early understanding of process management and product design. During this time I started working with tools like solid works, fusion360, arduino and 3d printing.

After highschool I Studied IT for a year, this wasn’t for me, but gave me a basic understanding of programming as well as introduced me to scrum and other more in depth process management structures.

From there I went to the Breda University of Applied Sciences to study game development, in this course I learned to effectively develop games in a team as a leveldesigner.

What I’ve Achieved (in short):

  • Worked on the development of 7 games within a team

  • Worked on 17 Research and Design projects during highschool, usually concerning product design and sustainable design

  • Pinball (I’m even a member of the Dutch Pinball Association / NFV

  • DIY electronics and soldering (Arduino, Raspberry pi, LoRa)

  • 3D printing

  • 3D modelling for 3D-printing (Autodesk fusion 360)

  • Board games

  • Making cocktails (I have a reasonably impressive home bar at this point)

  • miniature painting and aquarelle painting

  • Worked on 3 projects that were later awarded within our study. 1 was nominated for a national award

  • Developed 2 custom maps for existing games
